Animal Control - Contractual Services
Golden Belt Humane Society is contracted to provide animal control services to the city of Great Bend and the unincorporated areas of Barton County.
To assist other areas in Barton County, impoundment contracts have been created to help Ellinwood, Claflin and Pawnee Rock. Though the contracts are limited, they are much needed to help assist law enforcement agencies or city appointed individuals with emergency animal impoundments. Golden Belt Humane Society has no jurisdiction in Ellinwood, Pawnee Rock, Claflin, Hoisington, Albert or anything outside of Barton County.
